    Usually, this happens the first week of every month.  When time allows, I write up a summary like this one but you don’t have to wait in order to see your neighborhood area stats. Just click after the first week of each month on Neighborhood/County Market Statistics under the blog header and chose the county you are interested in checking out.

    These numbers are strictly single family homes only.

    The chart to the right shows how much inventory (homes actively for sale on the market) as to the months it will take to sell. These figures are for a 12 month, 6 month and 3 month period based on the amount of single family homes that have sold versus the homes on the market for sale.

    Based on the months of inventory, it would appear that we are in a Seller’s Market.  However, with the banks holding back actively listing homes in foreclosure this number may be scewed.  Time will tell.

    Below are the figures for the entire Yolo County as a whole.  If you are interested in your specific area be sure to check out Neighborhood/County Market Statistics.  From there you can chose the month you are most interested in along with other county real estate market stats.

    230 homes had an accepted offer, pending sale

    131 homes sold

    3,737 average sold price of single family home

    1784 average square footage of a sold home

    75 average days on the market to sell

    467 Sold homes

    7,256 is the average sold price

    1797 average square footage of a sold home

    65 days average days on the market
