The Sacramento home buyer referred to in this video opted not to buy the foreclosed bank owned home for sale but this was after the home buyer paid for a Pest Inspection and Home Inspection. With dry rot damage and Air Conditioning repairs needed it came down to asking the bank to pick-up a portion of the cost which they declined.

Unfortunately, the Sacramento homebuyer is out the for the Pest Inspection and the 5 for the Home Inspection but not lighter in the pocket for over ,000 in Section 1 repairs and air conditioning expense.

I did see the house has gone back into Pending Sale at ,000 less than what my client offered. It’s my guess the bank would have been much better off if they had agreed to pay the repairs the home buyer requested.

The purpose of this blog article and video is to reaffirm with the Sacramento home buyer, the importance of paying for a Pest Inspection and home inspection with reputable licensed individuals.
