    When we purchased our home last year, one of the main selling points was the pool - a well-maintained gunite pool that was close to 50 years old. I spent every summer as a kid in my pool - swimming in it and cleaning it. Marco Polo. Canonballs. Ah, memories.



    What Does Owning a Pool Cost?
    We knew it would be expensive to own a pool. First there are the monthly costs:

    Electric: -0/month

    Supplies:  -/month

    Heat:  -0/month

    Insurance: I pay nothing extra for the pool. But this may not be the case for everyone. (more…)
