As a Sacramento Realtor and Short Sale agent, I was dumbfounded this past week when calling home sellers to set-up appointments to show their homes for sale to my Sacramento home buyers. 

I wouldn’t mention this if it only happened once but unfortunately, twice when I called Sacramento home sellers who have their home for sale, the Sacramento home seller was shocked to receive my call to show their house for sale.  You can imagine my surprise!  Seems that either the listing agent assumed the Sacramento home seller would know that Realtors ® would call to show their house for sale or perhaps the listing agent told the home seller and they forgot.

Sometimes, when Sacramento home sellers are in a distressed position of a Short Sale they may not retain all the information we give them as listing agents.  I know that when I list a Sacramento Short Sale as a Sacramento Short Sale Specialist many times I repeat myself just to make sure that the Short Sale seller understands what will happen next with their home for sale.

This is a difficult time for many Sacramento Short Sale sellers and it is our job as Realtors ® to help guide and counsel the Short Sale seller through this difficult process.  So, if you are a Sacramento Short Sale seller, I may be calling you to set-up an appointment to show your Short Sale home for sale and that’s a good thing…
