Sacramento real estate is alive and kicking! Serious home buyers are searching the MLS and looking at homes for sale even during the holidays.

With the holidays approaching, a few home sellers are thinking about taking their homes off the market to enjoy the holidays.  I often get questions about this and some of my own Sacramento home sellers consider removing their homes from the MLS while they are busy with holiday shopping, decorating and enjoying time with family and friends.

Although this is understandable and it is fairly certain that there probably won’t be a lot of showings during the holidays one thing for certain is true.  Sacramento real estate is alive and kicking!

Home buyers who are actively looking for a home will have time off from work, those who are thinking of relocating to the Sacramento and surrounding areas will also have time to travel to check out a place they want to call home.  So frankly, it’s NOT a good time to take your home off the market because the Sacramento home buyers who are actually out looking during the holidays are very serious about buying a house.

And just think, isn’t your home decorated for the holidays?  What better way to showcase your house than to have it brightly lite up and shining with the holiday spirit.  Seems that your home will be looking it’s best during the holidays.  Don’t you agree?

So, give it some thought and reconsider…homes definitely do sell during the holidays!  Sacramento Real Estate is alive and kicking plus the homes are looking their best right now!
