I know it’s hard to think about swimming at a lake or crafts with Popsicle sticks when there’s still snow on the ground. But some of the most popular summer camps in the West Hartford area fill up fast. If you’re new to West Hartford, have little ones who’ve never been to camp or a procrastinator, it’s time to get moving.
Here are links to some summer camps in the area:
Camp Winding Trails - very popular. Offers 1/2 day programs for preschoolers. Day camp. Located in Farmington. Camp runs 9 AM -3:30 PM and offers busing.
Renbrook Summer Adventure - Offers 1/2 day for preschools. Day camp. Located in West Hartford. Camp runs from 8:30 AM - 3:40 and busing is an additional cost. They also have great add-ons like horseback riding and French language classes.
West Hartford Leisure Services - West Hartford offers hundreds of options for the summer. There are tennis lessons, half day camp at Westmoor Park, theater camp, just to name a few.
The SummerPlace - Offers 1/2 and full day (full day runs from 8:30 until 4:30). Day camp. Located in West Hartford. Offers busing. Have a leadership training camp or theater camp for older kids.
