All of these companies will provide you with contracts, signage, and information on how to sell your home. Recently, one of these FSBO companies in Alberta joined a group of others in forming the largest for Townhome sale by Owner Company in Canada.
If you are interested in selling your house privately, give it some serious thought. Perhaps you wish to save that 6-9% commission, keeping the profit for yourself, or offering the house at a more attractive rate. Or maybe the last time you listed your home for sell, you didn’t have a great experience. Private sale of your home could be a fabulous idea for you, for many reasons. Be sure to proceed cautiously, however. Below are a few guidelines. Before offering your home, have a market appraisal to gain an idea of what your home is worth in the current market. This is always a wise use of your money. Knowing the market value of your home helps you set a competitive price. Make a list of the most attractive features of your home, property, and location. This list will be your reference while advertising the private sale of your home. Do the ‘homework’ and get your property in tip top shape. It is important to repair, update and upgrade your property as much as you can afford.
